Recipe:
Orange Mango Cocktail Low
Caloric & Diabetic Friendly Recipe
A
diet rich in vegetables and fruits, and low in
saturated fat and simple carbohydrates, is a
healthy diet. Make sure you are adding all the
necessary nutrients to your meal plan on a daily
basis.
Orange and mango are a perfect combination for a sweet and refreshing drink. I like to use Valencia oranges for their superior flavor and tartness. They do have seeds, but not many, and they are not hard to remove. Valencias are in season in the summertime, which makes it a perfect time right now.
- 1˝ cups orange sections
- 1 large mango (about 1 lb), peeled & cut into chunks
- 2 Tbsp lemon juice
- ¼ tsp salt
- 2 Tbsp SPLENDA® Granular
